tomorrow i register for my final semester. i am soo happy to be graduating. its been a journey to be sure, one i think shouldve ended quarters ago, but, so be it. i'm looking forward to finishing up my capstone project and making it semi-presentable, as its something i really want to do. and, i enjoy all the planning that goes into it. hopefully someday i can make it a reality for you all.
what i'm really excited about is next friday at the surly wench. thanks goes out to erick(noirtec) for bringing down assemblage23 for his special day (40!) and the rest of us Aug birthdays!
work has been interesting to say the least. so much going on with the franchisees, and now i've been given until the end of sept to "be on my own" as they say. i only have one element to fulfill in that regard and thats actually pulling product out of the machine. i'm also hoping to get some management time in to fulfill my externship req's.
my sister is gone to chi-town which makes me sad as i wouldve liked to have spent more time with her. two years went by FAST. but at least i can visit her in our hometown, so to speak. my mom really wants to go back to milwaukee so a side visit would be AWESOME. i havent been back really since HS in '87. they were gone to the ATL when i graduated in '90. and our brother is moving to ft. worth so he's closer. mabye i can see him too!
not much else to report. i'm sure i'll think of something as i nod off to dreamland, like WTF is going on in the UK? havent been able to get a beat on it, but it seems awfully strange and dumb. i HATE rioting. it doesnt accomplish anything but make you look like an idiot and a follower. j/s.
