life and death

so todays topic for class discussion was life and death and the meaning of life, and how we view the beginning and the end affects/effects how we live our life. very insightful. we had a lively, polite discussion on abortion and ones opinion that unless one has a particular experence, one cant really comment, as while the opinion might be valid ATM, w/o the experience, what can we say we'd really do. we did all agree, that those present were against extremism either way, because our experences were our own and unique. also talked about suicide and euthinasia. the group consciencous, outside of capital punishment(not discussed not enough time) was that too was an individual choice. we also talked about pecieved mediocracy. and again decided what might be MY bliss, may not be yours and to be ok with that choice. and how to reconcile that within ones self. life's journey isnt linear.
