i finally decided that i was tired of my clothes not fitting, and i cant afford to buy anything right now, nor have i in, oh, forever, so i got the 17 day diet book. it only cost me $12 with free shipping so i figured what the heck.
heres the scoop: it runs in 17 day cycles, to confuse your metabolisim. the first cycle is unlimited "cleansing" vegetables and lean protiens- turkey, chicken, fish, and two servings of specific fruits to be eaten BEFORE 2pm along with two probiotic servings daily. that would be yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi. breakfast is two eggs or 4 whites or your yogurt. NO breads, grains, potatoes/starches at all. only fat is limited EVOO for cooking. beverages are green tea and copious amts of water. the idea is to flush your system out.
i shouldve done this while i was unemployeed because heres the kicker i'm finding out. i dont have time for lunch at work. i picked a crappy week to start because i'm just not eating enough. i cant stop at work- ok i could, but then who wants to stay until 9pm on a job that can be done by 5-530 ish during the week? plus i have school.
I'M SO HUNGRY I COULD EAT A HIPPO. seriously. last night i wolfed down a bowl of chili at 9pm when i got home in like, 2 mins. i looked like a homeless person. it was ridiculous.
now this is not to say that it wont work. the avg weight loss in the first month is 20lbs. its supposed to be that way. i dont feel like i've lost anything however. and mabye thats because of the not eating enough roughage. so, hopefully tonite, i will scan in the food list and a sample menu for you all to see. tomorrow i'll get feedback from my mom who should almost be done with her first cycle. i want to lose the weight, now i have to figure a way to modify it to work around my schedule. so that i'm full all day, and my snack will keep me going till dinner.
i'm guessing the granola bars, bananas and cheese stix arent helping, but i need something, ya know? crikey i havent had soda in over a week, nor any starches. really, no potatoes, rice or bread. even oatmeal- which would keep me full. see i dont really like eggs. i dont. and i dont want to hate on my new found love for greek yougurt.
well back at it. oh the best part is workouts are 17mins. yep. i should prolly add that in. i guess dancing around my room will have to do for now.

oh, i did make some kimchi. i guess i should give it a try today as its another long one. i dont like being scheduled at 11am. just ask me to stay late, that ok. as long as i get some food in me, i'm good.
